Interim Reports were sent home with students today. I've asked that they be signed and returned with the student Monday March 3, 2008.
Students had this week to make up any late assignments so I've told them they still have the month of March to bring up their marks for the next report card which is April 18. This is a temporary report card which only tells them their mark as of today in class.
In class today we marked the Chapter 5 exam and I will have it returned to students by Tuesday. Monday we will be starting on Chapter 6.

Chapter 5 Vocabulary
Today we defined the 11 words from Chapter 5. Students were to write an example of the word and a non-example. This is what it should have looked like:
1) Consensus: a decision reached through common agreement.
Example: The class voted on whether marks should be deducted from late assignment and agreed they should not.
Non-Example: People could not come to an agreement.
This assignment is due this Thursday.
